We’re busy working on a couple of projects that you’ll be able to see soon. First is a coffee station for our store, Moose Maple Books & More. The sideboard we were using sold so we decided on a built-in piece done in more of a country style. So far the top has been glued together and, as you can see, it’s going to be lovely. With luck we’ll have it installed by the end of the year. More pictures as work progresses so stay tuned.
We recently delivered this table to a client. It has a yellow birch root base with a cherry top. Accents are birch bark and striped maple with a few colored leaves for fun.
Next up: North Country’s Holiday Arts and Crafts Show, North Country Community College (Saranac Lake campus), Sunday November 22 from 10:00-3:30. After that, Sparkle Village in the Saranac Lake Town Hall, Friday December 4, from 4 – 8 and Saturday December 5, from 10 – 4. We’ll see you there!
It’s been a crazy summer but we’re cranking it up for the Rustic Furniture Fair at the Adirondack Museum this weekend. One of the projects we’re working on is a dining table with a cherry top and a root base. Check out these pictures and stop by to see the finished product – it’s going to be lovely!
We donate a mirror to the Paul Smith’s VIC’s for their annual Great Adirondack Birding Celebration and this year was no exception. (We were also asked to fill in as vendors, both as Bookman Designs and as Moose Maple Books.) This year we decided to try something new – a pair of Red-tailed Hawks against a blue sky. It’s different, another way to add some fun to our work. Tell us what you think!
