Custom dining table

A client requested a dining table with a twist: instead of a solid top this couple wanted a live edge down the middle that you could see through a curvy glass insert. We chose butternut for the top and walnut for the bases to achieve a unique two-tone look. Fitting the glass was tricky business but proved to be a satisfying challenge. The result is a one of a kind piece, one we thoroughly enjoyed creating.

Unique table

The root base table with the walnut top is done and you won’t find a more unique piece anywhere.  Currently found at our store we’ll also have it at Sparkle Village this weekend.  Asking price is $3,500 (includes tax) and we offer free delivery within the tri-lakes area.  (Anything beyond that can be negotiated.)  This is one that has to be seen to be believed.  (More pictures in our gallery.)

Upcoming shows

There are two shows in the area in the coming weeks and we’ll be at both of them.  First is the North Country Community College Annual Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair on November 22. Then it’s Saranac Lake’s Sparkle Village Arts & Crafts Fair on December 4 & 5.  (More info can be found on their respective sites.)  Some of what we plan on having there are picture frames and mirrors, a shelf or two and a root-base table.
