There are two shows in the area in the coming weeks and we’ll be at both of them. First is the North Country Community College Annual Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair on November 22. Then it’s Saranac Lake’s Sparkle Village Arts & Crafts Fair on December 4 & 5. (More info can be found on their respective sites.) Some of what we plan on having there are picture frames and mirrors, a shelf or two and a root-base table.
It’s been a crazy summer but we’re cranking it up for the Rustic Furniture Fair at the Adirondack Museum this weekend. One of the projects we’re working on is a dining table with a cherry top and a root base. Check out these pictures and stop by to see the finished product – it’s going to be lovely!
We donate a mirror to the Paul Smith’s VIC’s for their annual Great Adirondack Birding Celebration and this year was no exception. (We were also asked to fill in as vendors, both as Bookman Designs and as Moose Maple Books.) This year we decided to try something new – a pair of Red-tailed Hawks against a blue sky. It’s different, another way to add some fun to our work. Tell us what you think!
Join us at Sparkle Village, Saranac Lake’s premier craft fair. Russ will be set up with a selection of pieces including a few in the works. Most of these pieces will be on display at the store so if you don’t grab it during the event you can get it later. Customer orders welcome. See you there!
